The US State Department and Its Private Army

Esther Levens – Jan 30, 2003

National Unity Coalition for Israel

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was created by the National Security Act of 1947 after WWII and six years after the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. Its purpose was to insure that the U.S. would never be caught again by surprise. Since then, the record of the CIA and the State department for predicting and handling world crisis is appalling.

The Record
Following is a partial list of critical events that the State Department and the CIA either failed to predict, or were responsible for:

  • North Korea invasion of South Korea in 1951
  • Soviet invasion of Hungary in 1956
  • Support of Castro and thus the Cuban missile crisis in 1962
  • Arab attack on Israel in June, 1967
  • Tet offensive in 1968 and the fall of Saigon
  • Soviet invasion of Chekoslovakia in 1968
  • Arab attack on Israel during Yom Kippur in 1973
  • Fall of Iran in 1979 and the establishment of an Islamic terrorist state that threatens world peace today.
  • Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979
  • Falkland Islands invasion in 1982
  • Fall of the Berlin wall in 1989
  • Invasion of Kuwait in 1990
  • Collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991
  • Asian economic crisis in 1998
  • Suez canal fiasco
  • Bay of Pigs fiasco
  • Collapse of South African government, replaced by a leftist, pro-Islamic government
  • Support of the Talibans and the building up of Talibans in Afghanistan
  • Failure to conclude the 1991 war against Iraq in 1991
  • Support of Muslin Jihaddists in the Bosnian war against Yugoslavia.
  • Support of the Muslim Jihaddists in the war against the Serbs.
  • September 11 2001 attack on mainland USA.

State Department personnel are not elected by anyone. Except for two top appointees, they are life-long civil service employees. They are a self-perpetuating institution supported by taxpayers to the tune of billions of dollars a year. Taxpayers have no say in the life and death decisions routinely made by the State Department, which have cost untold numbers of deaths in America and abroad. They are an embarrassment for their total failure to provide moral leadership for our country and for the international community.

No employees of the State Department have ever been fired, fined, demoted or put on trial even when found to be representing foreign government interests. A good percentage of their personnel are hired by foreign governments upon leaving State Department employment, contingent upon the services rendered to those foreign governments while in service to the State Department.

Most recently, the State Department created the Saudi Visa Express that allowed terrorist to enter the US without background checks. When confronted, they lied to the American public and to their elective representatives by concurrently claiming that 1.) it doesn’t exist and 2.)they closed it already, when in fact they continued its operation for at least one year after 9/11.

While they hide behind the “Quartet”, the State Department is the creator and pursuer of the new “Road Map”.

The Quartet – “Concerned Neutral Friends of Peace” in the Middle East
One member of the Quartet is Russia. For hundreds of years Russia has enforced extreme repression against Jews as its official policy, and has armed and equipped Israel’s enemies for the last half-century. At the time of the Yom Kippur war, it committed itself to invade Israel by sea, cancelling only at the last moment.

The European Union, is another Quartet member formed by European countries that are dominated by Arab influence. They have their own history of Jewish persecution that ended with the deportation of their own citizens to concentration camps during WW2, and the confiscation of their assets, which they continue to hold to this day; the only exception of this is England, which will always be remembered for its supreme efforts in trying to abort the birth of the state of Israel, while its Royal Navy was busy preventing holocaust victims from reaching the safety of Israel’s shores.

The U.S. State Department (representing America) is the only real power behind the Quartet members. The State Department’s prejudice against Israel is legend. It joined England in fighting against Israel’s establishment. It embargoed desperately needed weapons hoping that the Arabs would annihilate the Jews when the Arabs attacked Israel in 1948. President Truman defied the State Department by recognizing Israel.

The State Department has, for more than a half-century, consistently taken the position of the virulent anti-Semitic and arrogant Saudi Arabia and other oil-producing Arab states against Israel and its miniscule population, which in 1948 numbered less than one million people. Israel remains to this day the only Western democracy in the Middle East.

The CIA under George Tenant has tripled its budget to train the PLO in the following:

  • Sharp-shooting – i.e. ambush techniques (note the improved kill ratio along Israel’s roadways).
  • Demolitions – i.e. bomb-making.
  • Interrogations – i.e. torture.

The United Nations (UN), the fourth member of the Quartet, has recently chosen Libya to head its the human rights division and nominated Iraq as president of the UN Conference on Disarmament. Members of the General Assembly of the UN have cast 55,642 votes against Israel and passed 429 resolutions against Israel.

  • The General Assembly of the UN condemned and deplored Israel 321 times and 0 times the Arabs and the PLO.
  • The Security Council condemned, censured and deplored Israel 49 times and the Arabs and PLO 0 times.
  • The Security Council passed 131 resolutions in its history. Of those, 88 criticized or opposed Israel, none deplored the PLO or Arab states.

Every departing American president has carried with him for history the shame of the horrific mistakes of the State Department. The body that created the twisted and bizarre concepts mentioned above bears neither responsibility nor accountability to anyone.

One Response to The US State Department and Its Private Army

  1. Leon Chattah says:

    Brava!
What the world needs is not a chicken in every pot but an Esther Levens in every home!
Mrs. Levens, it was an honor to read your your clear statement of what is known all over the world as a sycophantic Arabist U.S. State Department. Actually, it is the image projected by the works of this Department why so many young people in so many countries end up being flag burners. That it is very sad, since the Department’s objective is to strengthen our image worldwide…
