ROAD MAP WOULD LEAD TO PALESTINIAN TERRORIST STATEThe two-and-a-half year bloody Palestinian Jihad – a barbaric war waged against Israeli civilians – is proof that the proposed 23rd Arab state would be a center for radical Islamic terrorism.
Sadly, the European Union, the United Nations, Russia, and the U.S. State Department – known as the “Quartet” – are demanding that Israel withdraw from its precious biblical heartland. This land, often called the West Bank, is biblically, morally, historically, and legally an integral part of the land of Israel. It is also vital to Israel’s security needs.
The greatest threat to Israel’s security and future is the effort to force Israel to accept the Quartet Road Map “solution”, which would force Israel to give up portions of its biblical heartland for an Arab-Palestinian state.
Twice the Palestinians have rejected a state:
1. In 1947 when offered a two-state solution by the UN, the Arab response was to attack and seek to destroy the infant state of Israel.
2. At Camp David in July 2000, PA Chairman Arafat was offered 97% of everything he requested by former PM Barak. He refused and instead he opted for war in the form of the intifada which has taken the lives of 600 Israelis and the maiming of nearly 5,000.
MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT …Israel’s total destruction is still the goal of Israel’s Arab enemies, or they would have accepted these offers of statehood.
THE TWO-STATE SOLUTION IS NO SOLUTIONWith your help, American decision-makers must be persuaded immediately that the current Road Map will concede territory to the Palestinians as a reward for their barbaric terrorist intifada. This would result in Israel’s ultimate destruction and must be stopped. If we unite, we can accomplish this!
Continuing to carve up Israel would please its Arab neighbors, but it is too high a price to pay to gain Arab allies in the war against Iraq.
THIS IS ZERO HOUR!! WE MUST ACT NOW!!
We have only four weeks until the January 28 Israel elections, and the Quartet will meet in early February. We have less than 30 days to influence major decision-makers in the U.S. and Israel. Our immediate task is to convince President Bush, his Cabinet, Members of Congress and the U.S. State Department to stand against this move to reward Israel’s enemies. We can do this by each of us sending massive numbers of faxes and e-mails, backed by press releases, rallies, phone call campaigns, advertising and other forms of PR. We will provide the Action Alerts to accomplish this.
We call on you as a Partner in the pro-Israel Christian or Jewish community to mobilize your constituency. Please let us know of your willingness to participate by returning the enclosed statement (signed) at your earliest convenience.
We need you and your membership network to participate in a massive and forceful response to President Bush, the Congress, the State Department, and the media.
This effort is too big and too important for just one group. Together, with all of our membership organizations and thousands of individuals, we can call on President Bush to withdraw from the Quartet Road Map. At this critically decisive time we must let them know where we stand. Let’s join the 82% of Likud members and the majority of Israelis who oppose the establishment of an Arab Palestinian state within any part of the borders of Israel.
As we enter 2003 we depend on you as a pro-Israel activist and many other thousands of individuals who have been with us throughout this struggle. Israel is at a long dreaded crossroad to either follow the world’s “Road Map” or take charge of her own destiny as a free independent state.
Israel cannot withstand this pressure without support from her advocates in America. We are virtually alone in our campaign against a terrorist Palestinian state. Please help us to help Israel stand strong under world pressure. With your participation we will be able to continue this vital work.
